• In India:
Serving India’s
low caste children
The Samsi School in West Bengal serves some of the poorest communities
in India including the Harijans, the country’s lowest caste.
While the Indian government is constitutionally required to help Harijan
children, once they become Christians the help is withheld.
Children in the program receive tuition, uniforms, books, supplies
and special help for their families. The program is staffed with
Christian teachers who work with our local partner.

prominent, Hindu caste system. The Bible Faith Mission, run by Dalits for Dalits, works to help very poor children who cannot afford to
attend school.
