Children's Programs

From the Amazon Basin to the jungles of West Kalimantan our local partners see children in need: living on the streets, abandoned and neglected or sold into prostitution. Through them we are reaching out to assist as many children as we can, and often these efforts grow into powerful ministries in their own right.

This simple assistance, flowing from the heart of Jesus, creates a powerful message, especially in communities resistant to the Christian message. Poor families whose children receive an education through sponsorship are naturally drawn to Christians who care. They’re more likely to respect those who offer their children a chance to succeed and to break the cycle of poverty.

And when children are formed in an environment that addresses their emotional, spiritual and physical needs they can achieve their potential. Often these children become leaders in churches and in businesses, able to share their own success with the community.
