Christian Outreach Fellowship serves women by helping them start income generating activities that enable them to escape abusive practices in their villages. These women also carry the Christian message back to the unreached people groups from which they came.

• In Senegal: Helping women
develop self-reliance

In rural Senegal, when drought comes and crops fail men often seek work in other villages. This leaves the village women, who are for the most part uneducated, dependent on their absent husbands to provide for the family. The Inter-Senegal Mission provides practical help to these women through nutrition, hygiene and assistance to launch microenterprises with skills such as sewing and tie-dye.
