PRIVACY What is partnersinternational.ca's privacy policy? Partners International is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. The privacy policy describes how we collect, protect and use the data you provide at our site. You can read our Privacy Policy. How can I be certain my privacy will be protected if I give online? Our online donation forms are hosted on a secure server. All information will be encrypted by your browser and no unsecured credit card information is exchanged during the transaction process. Why do you collect this personal info? We collect this information to process your donation and issue receipts. Please read our Privacy Policy for details. REFUNDS Can my donation be refunded? All donations made to Partners International are considered gifts and hold no legally binding merit. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds. Donors will receive a charitable receipt for their gift, sent to the mailing address provided during the donation process. However, if you discover you made an error in the gift amount you have sent, please contact our office by the end of the next business day to correct the amount of your gift. SECURITY Is it safe to make a donation on the Partners International website using my credit card? Yes. Partners International uses leading technologies and business practices to protect your credit card and other personal information. Your information is encrypted and transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard for transmitting encrypted data. Furthermore, all of the data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. A more detailed statement of our security practices is available by clicking on our Security Policy.	TAX Will I receive a receipt for tax purposes? Partners International is a registered Canadian charity which is qualified to receive tax-deductible donations. After you give, you will receive an email confirmation. If you have a printer, you can also print the "thank you" page that is presented with the confirmation after you donate. And if your donation totals $10.00 or more, Partners International will mail a receipt to you that satisfies Canada Customs and Revenue Agency requirements. What donation payment methods are available? Our online giving program accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Is there a minimum donation amount? $5.00 Canadian Dollars How do monthly credit card donations work? When you sponsor a worker, student or child through our website, you will be contacted by the Partners International office to set up a monthly transaction on your credit card. How do I change my auto giving? Simply send us an email at donorcare@partnersinternational.ca to make a change. How can I provide ideas and feedback? We welcome your thoughts as we continually strive to improve our site to meet donor needs. Please send email to donorcare@partnersinternational.ca with any comments, suggestions or questions you may have about our online service.	DESIGNATED GIFTS How are my gifts used? Spending of funds is confined to the programs of the charity. Each gift designated toward a board-approved program will be used as designated. When any given need has been met, or where projects cannot be reasonably carried out, the donor agrees that designated gifts may be used where most needed. TECHNICAL Why can't I enter my credit card information on the website? Some browsers do not support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the software that we use to ensure that your personal information is secure during transmission over the Internet. This may create an error preventing transmission of your information to our system, which would cause the request to stall at the credit card page. At this time, we do not have a Web-based alternative. We are sorry for any inconvenience. What if I need to cancel my transaction? Contact us at donorcare@partnersinternational.ca or call 1-800-883-7697 and we will be happy to issue a refund to your credit card.
